Dear Learning Platform learners,
I wanted to take a minute to talk about the upcoming U.S. Presidential election.
The stakes in this election are strikingly high. The two leading candidates have sharply divergent views of how government can promote economic growth, address income inequality, and protect the environment. They differ markedly in their views of international trade and immigration, and they would approach questions of national security very differently.
Here at Learning Platform, we believe that all citizens of the world should learn and care about what is at stake in this election. And we would encourage those of you who are citizens of the United States to register, and volunteer to help others register and go to the polls.
