High Tech High provides cutting edge strategies to teachers

High Tech High joins Learning Platform today to launch the on-demand course, How to Teach Us to provide teachers around the world with contemporary strategies to integrate in their educational environments.

High Tech High began in 2000 as a single charter high school launched by a coalition of San Diego business leaders and educators. It has evolved into an integrated network of schools spanning grades K-12, housing a comprehensive teacher certification program and a new, innovative Graduate School of Education.

How to Teach Us: This course is designed to give teachers a glimpse into the best practices implemented at High Tech High from the perspective of the students. Learners will look at individual examples of significant learnings, the day-to-day schedule the students follow, and the assessment strategies the students engage in to show their learning development. The course centers on student voice and how it can integrate into the educational process.

Learning Platform is excited to partner with High Tech High to provide groundbreaking and innovative work in high school pedagogy, classroom management and school administration. Our partnership will continue to provide professional development credits to K-12 instructors within participating United States school districts as part of our Teacher Professional Development program.
